It was built during a season of deep shift—after packing up one life, renovating the bones of another, and choosing clarity over chaos day after day. I didn’t launch with perfect paint swatches or a mapped-out plan. I launched with intention, resilience, and a quiet belief: that spaces shape us, and we shape them back.This work is personal because change is personal. Behind every checklist, behind every name, behind every corner painted with care—there’s a human hoping to feel at home again. My job isn’t to rush you forward. It’s to walk beside you, sketch options, untangle the overwhelm, and remind you that clarity lives here, even when the world feels loud.Whether you’re moving homes, renovating rooms, or building a brand that fits like skin—this is a space designed for your transition to feel like hers, yours, ours.

🧭About Kimberly

I didn’t start in design. I started in law—first as a legal secretary, then a senior paralegal and office manager. Eventually, I joined the American Arbitration Association, where I worked my way up to senior case manager in the Pro Se Department. I also ran the NC Hurricane Disaster Relief Mediation solo, helping displaced families and insurance companies find resolution after devastating storms. That work was human, layered, and deeply rewarding.Then COVID hit. My health took a turn, and I had to step away from the career I’d built. In 2021, I started Otter Weave Boutique with my daughters—crochet, graphic design, creative joy. When they moved on, I kept designing, quietly building KMRoy Designs on TeePublic. It became a hobby, a way to stay creative while everything else was shifting.And then came the house. Our oldest daughter moved out, and our 4–5 bedroom home became too big, too empty, and too expensive to keep. We sold it, dealt with a nightmare realtor, backed out of multiple properties, and lived through the chaos of trying to find something that felt like ours. In the middle of it all, I started making lists. Budgets. Vendor research. Emotional maps. I realized I’d been doing this kind of work all along—simplifying complexity, creating clarity, helping people feel at home again.That’s how HomeRidge Studio was born. It’s not just a business. It’s a place where I help others reclaim their sense of home—through strategy, emotional design, and simplification. I bring everything I’ve ever worked on into this space. Legal precision. Mediation instincts. Creative grit. And a deep belief that clarity isn’t just a tool—it’s a form of care.

Appointments are confirmed by email and held via Zoom or messaging, depending on your chosen path. Rescheduling is welcome with 24 hours’ notice. Missed sessions without notice may require a rebooking fee or a pause in service.💳 Payment
Full payment is due after service confirmation, before guide delivery. For multi-tiered projects, flexible payment plans may be available—just ask. Pricing is clearly outlined per tier, bundle, or add-on. No hidden fees.📦 Deliverables & Timelines
Most 1-room guides are sent within 7–10 business days. Add-ons may follow separate timelines based on your pacing and project scope. All materials are delivered digitally via email or shared folders.✏️ Revisions
Minor tweaks are welcome within 7 days of guide delivery. Larger edits or directional changes may require an additional session or add-on. You always have space to ask questions—no “one and done” energy here.💌 Communication Boundaries
I respond to emails within 1–3 business days. Messaging support is available for active clients on select paths. No urgent or off-hour contact unless pre-arranged. You deserve calm—and so do I.🤝 Respect & Scope
